Childses, I’d have had the intestinal fortitude to trundle on, but the only thing that happened to my intestines after a week in America was a hell of a lot of Pepto Bismol, and severe confusion. I thought I had guts of steel, but apparently it’s steel that holds up everywhere but the USA.
This may have something to do with it. We put cream or milk (plant or otherwise) in our coffee, in the US you can find me tearing open a packet (or two, let’s be realistic) of this:
just what I needed. Hot guy, endless sun and books, and good food. It rejuvenated me like never before, AND I managed to miss the Mt Raung ash cloud at the end of it that left plenty of people stranded. Yes, I was mauled by monkeys, but I can overlook that. Sort of.
Back to kinder dropoffs, grocery shopping and this here laptop, but I’m glad to be home. I’m in no hurry to go any further than Smith and Deli for the next little while.
What about you though? Been somewhere fun lately? Got something planned? Make me jealous!
