Baby food: Beetroot and feta puree

Description

A sweet and earthy puree for your favourite baby.

Ingredients

  • One large beetroot
  • 1/2 large sweet potato
  • 1 tablespoon feta

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the beetroot and sweet potato and add to a pot with a little water – just enough to cover, and bring to the boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or so, until the veggies are tender.
  3. Blend with the feta (or ricotta/cottage cheese) and serve to your hungry little vegemite.
