Is that I’m lazy. It’s something I’ve tried to fight my whole life. If I start my day sitting down and reading something, whatever it is, then I find it so hard to get going doing anything else the whole day. I know its not good, and I do all sorts of hilarious things to combat it, but I’m naturally not energetic and I’m extraordinarily good at turning a blind eye to things like dusty windows and the ring around the bathtub. Of course having two small children mean you can’t really be lazy all day, but it goes against my instincts to take a book and a cup of tea and sit somewhere comfortable. Damn kids. Always wanting food and clean clothes and shit.
So I’m lazy. That’s my bad habit. I don’t have the time to indulge it, but I fight it almost all the time. Surely the laundry can wait one more day, right?
What’s your bad habit? Are you a filthy fingernail-chewer? A laundry-leaver too? Or perhaps you litter? DON’T LITTER.
Me too, Me too, a big fat procrastinating lazy cat. If I do not get dressed as soon as I wake and get some things done the day is a struggle I fumble about with lots to do but not knowing where to start I just cannot get into it.
Isn’t it weird it has that effect! Same if I start working on the computer in the morning, I just cant get it together everywhere else!
I am too anal but also lazy does that make sense probably not,but I run around cleaning up and doing what I have to and then spend the rest of my time on the net or reading!
That’s what I need to do! Get it all done in the am and then relax in the afternoon.
Bad habits- I have plenty! I’m lazy . I drink coke way too often. I’m easily distracted. I talk over the top of people ( this one I work on changing this one the most!)….the list I’m afraid is endless !
I never finish anything. So you can talk over the top of my sentences!
Haven’t been commenting much, but am loving this series, and tune in daily. I too am lazy. My husband, is the other extreme. He works 18/24, 7 days a week. His standards are higher than mine. So we compromised and hired help- an ironing lady, an au pair, and child care. Cheaper than divorce x
If my husband wasn’t in this gig 50/50 with me, I would totally be hiring all the help I could get. I’m fortunate that he does it for free 🙂
I stress too much and I am too OCD. Hmm maybe these are connected. The more stressed I am the more things have to be the ‘right’ way.
I am SO not like that! I realised a long time ago that I would just hate life if it always had to be my way. Now I’ll happily let someone else do it ‘wrong’, because SOMEONE IS DOING IT AND IT MEANS I DON’T HAVE TO! All of the laziness, haha
I to suffer from laziness, I love a clean house but hate actually having to clean it to keep it that way, would love to know what you do to try and combat it!
I think I will write a post! It’s a combination of things.. .mostly just getting off my ass 🙁
