  1. That looks delicious! I’ve just started eating toasted muesli and I love it! I have a ton of buckwheat that I don’t know what to do with, so I’ll give this a crack.

    • I sort of don’t get the point of that? I don’t want my smoothies to be crunchy! Nor do I want to eat them with a spoon, so I’ve just sat here confused for a good couple of months 🙂

  2. That looks super yummy and I never thought of coconut milk ( which would be delicious). I always avoid cereal because I am lactose intolerant and I don’t like the taste/ texture of soy milk on cereal.

    • yeah I was a bit funny with soy milk and cereal until I found Vitasoy Soy Milky lite. so awesome! But for this I like the richness of the coconut milk/cream.

  3. I too have had buckwheat sitting in the pantry for the longest time. Do you think if I made a big batch it’d store ok?

  4. I never stopped eating porridge this year!
    I usually make the switch to yogurt at some point in the summer but for whatever reason this year I just kept making porridge.
    I think I will give this one a go though…maybe with yogurt and grated apple and chopped dates!

  5. Veggie mama, in my country (Nigeria) we do not have buckwheat, so can normal wheat serve or replace? thanks for blessing my appetite

  7. Do you soak the buckwheat overnight and then toast it? Just wondering about what’s best for digestion. Could I give this to my toddlers for bf?

    • I don’t, I’m not a big believer in soaked grains. I have no trouble eating it this way. I think it would be great for toddlers, the fruit is a big draw card! 🙂
