Give your face a big hug with Cosima organic cosmeceuticals – two $250 vouchers to win! {ended}

May 13, 2014 by Stacey 74 Comments

Congrats Lily and Emma!

1525165_10152189363903829_348150936_n

If you’ve been hanging out here at VM for a while, you will have noticed a happy pink ad over there on the sidebar. Cosima Skincare has been on my blog’s face and on my own face every day for the last two years – and not without good reason.

I’ve chatted a bit here about why I like them so much: but basically, it’s skincare that works. Quality ingredients, reasonable prices, pretty smells, manufactured in Australia, and run by a Brisbane mum with a desire to create a beautiful product for people who want their skin to be its best. It is also certified organic, cruelty-free, and comes in recyclable packaging.

I love the idea of natural products. Really, I do. What I love even  more is anti-ageing natural cosmeceutical products, ones that pack a real punch. Not literally, that would be the opposite of caring for your face, and would probably hurt.

No SLS,  no parabens, no artificial anything, for those of you who try to avoid those things. Just a nutrient soup for your highly-absorbent skin that does a wonderful job every day of keeping your insides in.

I’m pretty stoked to announce I am now a Cosima ambassador, which means my giant head will be coming to a Facebook Cover Image near you. It also means we will be running more giveaways to get VM readers’ skin into tip-top shape. It’s a lot of fun to use indulgent, luxurious products that hydrate and prettify while also avoiding rubbing a chemical shitstorm into your face.

For two lucky readers this week, Angela and I are giving away two $250 vouchers for you to spend on whatever Cosima products you like. Simply head over to the Cosima website and pick a few, then come back here and tell us what you’d like and why. We will choose two winners on the basis of those comments. The competition will end next Tuesday, May 20 at 5pm. Winners will be notified by email and named on this post.

Do please say hi to Angela either on her Facebook page or on Instagram. She’s a real gem, and often does giveaways on those platforms too. She’s been a wonderful support to the blog, and I’d be overjoyed if you could send her a little Veggie Mama love.

Good luck!

I’ve never heard of Cosima before! I would love Angela’s advice on what is best for my very dry skin type, but I think the Replenshing Day and Night cream would be a great start for me. I’ve always wanted a proper exfoliator too, so I would go with that also. Off to check out the FB page.

Being pregnant I like to avoid products with harsh chemicals and give preference to those certified organic. This is the first time Ive heard of Cosima and Id love to try the repleneshig day cream, regenerating night cream and the gentle cleansing milk.

Oh awesome – gosh those products look great. I like the fact that the ingredient list looks like something I could eat – aloe vera, goji berries etc. I am heading off to see my brand new grandson in a months time, and would so love to take some of these with me so my daughter and I can have a “beauty” day. With my 250.00 voucher I would buy a soothing and a refining clay mask (since we have different skin) then the radiant elixer (I feel younger just reading that!) the replenishing day cream and regenerating night cream, and lastly the true renew facial exfoliator. Those would be sure to make me look like a smooth and supple grandma. 🙂

I was actually gifted a facial last week and I was amazed at how good quality products, especially those that exfoliate, can make a different to your skin. I haven’t spent money on products since I’ve had kids, but I also can’t afford the natural ones that I want. Since having kids I’ve become a lot more aware about chemicals and refuse to put things on their skin but still use cheap stuff on mine! So I’d choose the Flawless Serum to help get rid of pigmentation, other age spots and also the Flawless active enzyme peel to get rid of the dead skin once a week! I’d also get a soothing clay mask, there’s nothing quite like having a face mask on in the winter wearing slippers, sipping a glass or red wine and watching TV! 🙂

Being a Mumma like all the rest, my only “beauty regime” is when i accidentally wipe (best case scenario) sudo creme on my cheek whilst wrestling a nappy onto a squishy, squirmy 1 year old princess who has stolen any existing grunged up remnants of blush i once owned to decorate “dolly”… having said all this, i think the Soothing Clay Mask “A mini face-lift at home” sounds divine and along with the Purely Radiant Elixir and some regenerating night cream, i might be able to, whilst enjoying the 45 minutes my child deigns to nap, remind myself of a time when i actually had a budget, the time and lets face it the inclination to visit a beautician! keep up the good work Cosima! 😉

So I’d like the clay mask, the night cream and the day cream because (a) myself and my face need regeneration (b) I want to use something natural, but can’t seem to DIY my own in a way that gives results, and © I keep telling myself that the eye wrinkles are from happiness and a life well-lived, but it’s getting harder and harder to swallow that.

I would love to have some of the Purely Radiant Elixir. My skin could use some boosting. I’ve been trying several products now but nothing seems to be working. I’ve always had dry skin and red patchy bits but as I age, it seems to be getting worse. I’m already losing my hair, I would at least like to have beautiful skin.

At 38 I am still battling with acne. This has been 24 long years & I am desperate to find a product that will help me, and help my self esteem as a whole in the long run. My best skin ever was when I was pregnant with my twins. As with many mothers I don’t spend much money on myself, but have been recently searching and trying new products to help my skin, which is getting worse not better. My jawline in particular has terrible cystic acne. I have seen a fair bit on Cosima, and winning this voucher would be amazing. At an age where you would think I would be purchasing the ‘Flawless” collection, I would be most interested in the Foaming Cleanser – Balancing, Phytoactive Hydrator/Toner – Balancing, Purely Radiant Elixir – Balancing and the Refining Clay Mask to fingers crossed help improve my skin. My gorgeous 10 year old daughter is now showing signs of pimples, which just upsets me. I don’t want her to have to go through the years of trying different products, taking medicines etc to fix her skin. I am hoping that Cosima is my natural & organic solution, and a solution that I can share with my daughter for life!!

I’ve just begun studies this year to become a Naturopath and am working my way through my life to change all I use to natural products and foods. As a student learning how our bodies process everything, it’s become even more important to keep my body clean and pure from the inside out. Becoming a student again while in my mid 30’s has been an adjustment and I would love to try the flawless eye cream to help with the aging process (aka laugh lines) and early mornings. The age delay nail and hand cream looks amazing too – I’ve always struggled with feeling as though my hands look old. Honestly, any help at all would be such a blessing and gratefully appreciated.

With a son who suffered from cystic acne would love some skin care products to give him back some natural moisture

Cosima Flawless Cream and Flawless Eye Cream are two products that sound very impressive! My skin is in great need of effective products so I’m eager to try them 🙂

I would love to try Flawless Cream – Natural Botox and Flawless Eye Cream – Natural Botox, it sounds like a great alternative to getting Botox injections and looking younger.

I would love to try the Nourishing Foaming Cleanser and the Soothing Clay Mask which my mature skin would welcome 🙂
