Kid food – snacks

September 25, 2012 by Stacey 2 Comments

The weather is warming up, and with it the promise of nicer fruit. It might just be me, but I am a little bit not excited about bananas, apples and oranges.
God, I’m such a diva.
I have hated watermelon for the longest time. I still struggle with it. Abby doesn’t though.
I teamed it with some organic corn flakes from the health food store bulk bins.

Mandarines, bananas and little gingerbread dudes. I made my own last week, with rapadura sugar. I will blog the recipe soon… it was awesome!

A variety of things because I can’t stand the idea of her being bored. I’m sure she’s not, but *I* am!

Rice cakes with avocado, gingerbread men cookies, a couple of Salada squares, and apple slices.

Bananas and nutri-grain.
Ooh and these were a hit – my apple + oatmeal cookies, Cheerios and red grapes.

This week I baked banana bread, cheese scones, strawberry and passionfruit muffins and a cheesy broccoli slice for the freezer and for snacking.

I believe this must be how I nest.

xx
