We were getting back into the swing of things snack-wise before the move, and I relished the chance to get creative with kid food.
Then we moved, and I was throwing peanut butter sandwiches and handfuls of sultanas at them at regular intervals. I think it’s time to step it up a notch! Anyway, before we moved, this was what was happening at toddler snack time…We were getting colourful with Ikea ice trays, filling them with chopped banana, strawberries and blueberries, sultanas, cashews (for the older kid with actual teeth!), and some Cocoa Pop knockoffs (I think they were from Aldi? I can’t remember!). Oh and little round crackers that came in special Christmas cracker trios from Aldi.
Banana, slices of apple, and pieces of cheese. Abby still won’t eat the cheese. Sultanas, Cheerios, and one of my sugar cookies.
Orange segments, grissini, yogurt buttons, goji berries and a slice of dried apple.
And Katie180’s banana-almond-cacao pudding. Delicioso!
What’s on the snack table at your place?
