They LOVE this movie. I LOVE this movie. There is popcorn and kittens. Winning all round.

Let’s not mention the kitten “surprises” I keep finding in odd places. I’m not winning that one.

What’s the movie du jour at your place?

Cars. Cars. Cars. Mummy, can I please watch the cars movie with Lightning The Queen and his best friend Mater and Doc and Mack and Frank the cranky Combine Harvester? Please, Mummy? Pleeeeeeease?

Sometimes I want to hunt out the folks from Pixar and poke them in the eyeball.

Actually Eve doesn’t have the ability to watch a movie, the bonus of this is that I don’t have requests for the same move ad nauseam!
I always love these posts, ponies!

It was Toy Story but we’ve had a bit of a movie hiatus since we got Foxtel. Now Hunter is all about Zou, Doc McStuffins, Pac-Man and more. Ellie is in Wonder Week and teething territory so TV is my friend at the moment.

My nieces absolutely lose their shit for Frozen and every time they come round they DEMAND to watch it! I complain, but god, they’re seriously adorable when they sing along 🙂

Hah it’s really cute, huh? Our day care plays it like, every day. My girls got over it in about a month, but it seems to live on and on and on and on and on and onnnnnnn

I know it’s not what you asked but I have a deep, gut-churning revulsion toward toys that have disgusting synthetic hair on them, so that box of My Little Ponies is like my worst nightmare brought to life.

hahah I have many weird aversions, but not one like that! So funny, I bought most of them on Gumtree, and the lovely lady got them all nice and pretty for my very small girls. She even went to the effort to comb the pony hair and ‘make it shiny’ by SPRAYING IT WITH WD-40. I had to soak that shit for like, two days. The first place my kid was going to put that pony was in her mouth, so…. I’d have preferred not poisoning them on Christmas Day.

With my 3 year old sister I love watching Tangled. Pixar brings back old memories I will never be able to let go off.

Since it arrived at our house 2 months ago, it’s nothin’ but My Neighbour Totoro, by Studio Ghibli. It’s probably had about 50 runs so far. Not complaining though. It’s a beautiful piece of work, perfect for young kids. Other faves include all the Toy Stories, The Incredibles, Planes, and the second collection of Pixar short films (highly recommend this one).

My Esther loves her little ponies and all of the ones she got were from happy meals! And the movie that my girls can’t get enough of at the moment is Up and this terrible Lego Friends movie which goes for 20 minutes but keeps them captivated! I have to try TMNT with my two and see what they think.

I bought Mary Poppins on Apple TV a few months ago and Scarlett loves it. Otherwise it’s Arthur Christmas or Frozen for movies. We have Foxtel and presently it’s a rotation of Doc McStuffins, Sheriff Callie, Sophia the First and Charlie and Lola.

Waaaah. I miss MY TV. All the cooking shows! But you know actually when the Great British Bake Off was running she was into it. Ruby was her favourite.

Oh I’m secretly pleased the girls don’t watch frozen any more, although all their friends seem to talk about it all the time, and they ask me for Elsa hair every day, haha. We watch Mary Poppins on DVD and I thought they might be a bit young, but they love it! That and the Sound of Music. Weird kids.
