Kids Live Here

living with kids april detritussister friends life-at-mine-april- life-at-mine-april-2 life-at-mine-april-4 life-at-mine-april-5Every day is a mess and I have to buy new textas every week. I’ve never in my life unpeeled so many bananas, and I usually have a little snoozing face next to me when I wake up each morning.

I’m going away today for a few days and by tomorrow morning I think I’m going to be wishing I was chopping up apples and brushing baby bedhair. Dammit.

So much cute! Enjoy your break and don’t worry, you’ll be back to brushing baby hair and chopping apples before you know it. Time flies by when you’re having fun xx

You’ll be doing that thing where you reach over and cut up the adults meal sitting next to you. Or tell them you’re going to do a wee wee. …Enjoy your adult time. The bedhair will be waiting. (But I know exactly what you mean.) x

As long as I don’t wipe anyone’s ass uninvited I think I’ll make it through unscathed 😉

Your girls are beautiful and their little lives look magical. So many fun places to play and learn and live. My two year old decided that he no longer wanted his apple chopped up and now eats the apple whole {WINNING} – don’t worry I’m still slicing pears and pealing bananas that *magically* NEVER GET EATEN.

Haha yeah my kid (the one who does eat apples anyway) can dig a whole one but I cannot stand to eat them like that and cut them for myself. I’M A GROWN-ASS WOMAN

I am the queen of peeling bananas the WRONG WAY! And then the banana CANNOT be eaten!
    Enjoy your break!

I’m going to a wedding on my own for the first time in 8 years. I thought I’d be excited, it’s still a few months away, but I’m already thinking I’ll miss them so much.
