Joining in with Meet Me at Mike’s, not stealing broth.
Drinking : Yorkshire tea.
Reading : The Hawke Memoirs by Bob Hawke. Part of my challenge to read all those books on my “one day” pile this year!
Wanting : Someone else to cook dinner.
Looking : at my historic hometown and the super-awesome rundown cottages on the road into town (exhibit A above. I stopped on the side of the road and photographed it like a legit creep!).
Playing : A Peter Rabbit boardgame.
Wasting : A spoonful of yogurt.
Sewing : nowt.
Wishing : See above RE: Dinner
Enjoying : Time with my girls.
Waiting : To get back into a groove this year after the school holidays.
Liking : Cheese.
Wondering : ooh about a lot of things, actually. I occasionally suffer from “I couldn’t pull that off, I’m not good enough” syndrome, but I’m wondering if I can pull it off anyway.
Loving : The ages of two and three. Kids saying “goffered” instead of “forgotten” and “berember” instead of “remember”.
Hoping : Yep, that sleep sitch. Keep it up, kids!
Marvelling : That I actually did live through that sleepless nights with small children phase. It was tough there for a while, I actually lost my mind. Twice.
Needing : More leggings.
Smelling : Peanut butter. My sidekick is covered in it.
Wearing : Black Sportsgirl singlet, leopard print shorts, regulation scowl.
Following : The Slowpoke, Le Pirate
Noticing : People are REALLY good at food styling. I am not that people!
Knowing : I need more balance.
Thinking : That I should write some things down, like a brain dump. It’s getting crowded in there!
Feeling : Really glad I had thai curry leftovers today.
Bookmarking : Julia Child’s white sandwich bread and this “F*ck it Let’s Go to New York” sign because I need.
Opening : My big mouth. Retrograde kills me. I go MENTAL.
Giggling : When you a thug but you still have life goals
Listening : you’re gonna laugh… but it’s a podcast about living like a pioneer in modern times.
What have you been up to?
