That’s what’s going on

LIfe-at-Mine-September-1

I have been making lots of puddings.

Life-at-Mine-September-3

And buying all the books in the land.

Life-at-Mine-September-4

AND EATING ALL THE BUTTER SHUT UP

Life-at-Mine-September-6 Life-at-Mine-September-8

Sharing my yoga mat with everybody.

Life-at-Mine-September

Getting obsessed with Yorkshire Tea. It’s not often I deviate from loose leaf but hi Yorkshire. Hi. You’re strong. I like you.

IMG_5472

My garden has begun its Spring Assault.

IMG_5475

And you’ll find me in the kitchen making my children endless food. I think it’s Growth Spurt Season at VMHQ, probably to tie in with spring.

Thank Yeezus for the humble Vegemite sandwich.

Where would I find you these days?

I love growing my own fruits and vegetables. I’m just growing sunflowers and garlic at the moment. Spring? We’re about to hit Autumn here in California, but these last days of summer are really bringing the heat!
This blog post also reminds me that I need to get back into yoga!

Hooray for buying all the books in the land! I’m about to make an assault on book depository and drain all the last goodness from my tax refund. Yeehaa!

I’m thinking my boy would starve without vegemite sandwiches.

I’m usually on the couch at the moment manufacturing boobie juice. My kids have been super hungry too! Spring is obviously affecting them too with new growth.

Drinking too much tea and wishing it was beer. That about covers it.

Dear lord, my child is eating all of the things now too.
This morning after breakfast he ate FIVE mini muffins.
And then he snuck into the kitchen and polished off R’s stash of “hidden” cookies.
And then I watched him zoom around the house on a crazy sugar high!

I’m travelling so you’ll probably find me on an aeroplane. I’ve been eating ALL the things, Tigger Tails in Disneyland, Deep Dish Pizza in Chicago and Fish and Chips in the Mother Country. It’s all been highly calorific but highly delicious. That humble vegemite sandwich hasn’t half made me homesick though!

I’m usually in front of my MacBook… or taking pictures around town. Recently started a new local, indie magazine style website all about Cobourg, Ontario. So far, so good!

We’ve had a great reaction so far — lots of folks saying good things about it and we’re lining up lots of interviews and events to share over the next few weeks. Looking forward to growing it!

Hi Stacey, that Yorkshire tea sounds good I love a strong tea, though I haven’t seen it over here, where did you find it. ? You go girl and keep cooking up a storm and eating all the butter, if I could join you I would lol…… Oh how I love books and bookshops, if I could afford it I’d buy my local Bookshop out and live in it hehe…… ah the good old Vegemite and cheese sandwich where would we be without them. ? My kids love them to death, in fact if I’m not careful Bec may very well turn into a cheesymite roll lol……Oh and you’ll fin finde me in the garden these days as spring has finally come here and I’m overhauling our garden…. xo

I found it in a supermarket! I can’t remember which one. I’m so excited about your garden! Ours is finally blooming, but we now have to move, which is sad. But also fun!

Yorkshire tea, you say? We’re double baggers in our house (Irish Breakfast) so maybe a change of scenery is what’s required…
