Episode 13 begins with Bevvo and I barely knowing where to begin: it was a jam-packed fortnight for sure.
We did, however, dive into the new social media comment guidelines implemented by the palace on its various platforms, the fact that Liz posted her first IG pic, and goss about season 3 of the Crown.
We discuss Edward and where he sits among the titled children, what’s going on with both Her Maj’s hand bruise, and the fact that Andrew is stepping up to be Phil fill-in now that he doesn’t accompany the queen on the engagements he used to.
We tackle listener questions (including one that totally stumped me good and proper… I couldn’t even speak), and big-bosom ladies.
Which leads me to, of course, the big bleep. I said a thing, I said a thing you guys because I forgot myself for a moment. I of course got the giggles, and Beth was horrified, and the only thing we could do was bleep it the fuck out and carry on with our day.
I can assure you, I am apologetic 🤣
Of course we had to discuss the dress debacle (is it new? Is it old? Has it been altered? it’s ugly anyway, right?!), and Meghan’s nursey getup. Bits, bobs, this, that and the other about royal fashion – how short is too short? when is old-lady dressing too old-lady for a young’un? Why is kate wearing suede boots in the rain? it was a hefty segment, my friends. Hefty.
But I won’t spoil it – hear it for yourself below or on any of your favourite podcast players. And again, I apologise for the bleep!
