Tiny tyrants have taken over the house. It’s kinda fun. But I’m not gonna lie, I can’t wait until they can pick up their own tipped-out pencils twelve times a day.

What’s it like at yours?

What are you sick to death of doing for the eight-millionth time?

It looks a little more messy over here. I take care of two boys (six & seven years old) and a one year-old girl. 🙂 But even the baby has been picking up her own mess lately. Hahah

For the seventy-twelfth time this year, I have changed the sheets and carried the laundry to the washer. Even more worser, I HATE putting it away after I have folded it-which is not my fave chore either. And of course hadda remake the bed. The cleaning fairies are on vacay again.

my last load still sits atop my dresser-waiting for Godot to put them away !~!

        Again and again
Some people in the crowd wake up.
They have no ground in the crowd
They emerge according to broader laws.
They carry strange customs with them,
and demand room for bold gestures.
The future speaks ruthlessly through them.

My boys are very similar ages to your girls, so there are little toys and balls everywhere, always. But what drives me coocoobananas is the cushions never stay on the couch! OMG! Arrrggghhhh!
    Sorry ’bout that.
Also, we can’t seem to keep textas around for more than 5 minutes, coz my youngest (almost two) loves biting the ends off.
    Sigh. Lucky they’re cute…

Ha our cushions are ok, but everything that ever gets put on a table or bench ends up on the floor. And I’ve tried and banned textas about 12 times already. SO sick of putting the lids back on! Once I find them, of course…

I constantly have dinosaurs joining me on the coffee table & currently have a toy fire truck sitting on my kitchen bench. There is a monkey soft toy in my hand bag & I have a Giggle & Hoot umbrella that I use (because I can’t find mine). I drink out of a Gruffalo plastic cup and sometimes (accidently) use the Wiggles toothpaste.
…..but I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world!

haha!! Just wait til they are old enough to get themselves dresses, but NEVER shut a sock, knicker or pj drawer and never ever shut the wardrobe…. I find knickers, socks, etc at the bottom of the wardrobe…. They put clean clothes in the dirty wash basket, and spend 1/2 in the shower if you let them! And that’s just miss nearly 10. Miss 5 still leaves crap everywhere, I’m in the middle!! LOL!!

Picking up the entire container of lego – which has been tipped out just so that he can hear the sound of all the lego hitting the ground – something which Daddy taught him (because Daddy’s dont pick up lego 50000 times a day).

Mate my house is a fucking tip most of the time. Blake is a kid who likes to pull aaaaalllllll the things out of aaaallllll the places. Plus my big two are always leaving socks & shoes on the floors or food stuffs on the bench. I’m over picking things up 20 gazillion times a day so now it just gets cleaned once Blake goes to bed so the only people who get to enjoy a clean house are the ghosts my 14 year old swears we have. I hope they like it.

Toys everywhere, DVDs taken out of drawers and crayons rolled under furniture. I wait till hubby comes home to pick it all up because I can’t bend down in my present state! And while it can be annoying, it’s evidence of being a mum to little people and I love them to bits!

I was looking at the 100D (Rebel 1ish, I think??) because I want something small.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Rebels/ EOS. In fact we have a 10 year old EOS inherited from my dad we had to retire a few years ago so we still have the lenses and flash unit, we just need a new body

I actually think the 550 is a pretty good size, it’s quite small. It also has video, which I thought was pretty important as I was about to have kids. Who knew i’d just use my phone every single day…

It is the food mess I cannot stand. I swear my kid has not gotten any better at eating over the past two years! Why can’t he just get the food in his mouth? And not all over the placemat, chair and floor! I am so sick of wiping things down and cleaning up the kitchen!
